Southside by Ovolo

My spouse and I really enjoyed our stay at Ovolo. Location is great - away from the hustle and noise of the City, yet still very accessible by MTR and buses. The surrounding is quiet & occasionally well hang around to watch matches at the recreational area just next to the hotel. Room is spacious (esp for HK standard) and was pretty much soundproof although could hear abit of conversations going on next door especially if the neighbours were speaking loudly/shouting. Very thankful to the team who celebrated our wedding anniversary with us by offering a complimentary room upgrade and a bottle of wine. We were super excited & this added extra joy to our celebration. The team was also super helpful as I needed industrial grade glue but couldn’t find it anywhere. Sought help from the concierge and the engineering team passed us a tube of brand new super glue - we were extremely thankful. These small gesture really made our stay so much more comfortable & at ease. We will definitely return to stay when we visit Hong Kong the next time!

Everything was great and super clean. Included free goodiebag, slippers, minibar, and everything needed for a comfortable stay. There was also a universal adapter. It was a bit cold on arrival the aircondition had been on full blast, i told the reception it was cold and they immediately brought me a heating fan, that heated up the room very quickly. Location is very close to the Metro. Ocean Park is only 1 stop away. Right next to the Hotel there is a gas station open 24 hours. I liked the concept of the hotel, I highly recommend!

The hostel near south HK island MRT station around 5 min, has the bus stop for 2 min distance, with a very comfortable bed & pillow, a modern style decoration design in the room and bathroom, thanks all staff with passion to everyone, we stay for 1 night with excellent experience here, the price has a good CP also affordable to us, I'm very recommended to say for your journey.

It’s not in the centre of Hong Kong Island, but the metro is very close and there are a couple of restaurants and coffee shops which we used for breakfast and for dinner the day we arrived. All the toiletries you need are provided.

The rooms worth the big windows were very nice and had all amenities we needed. The personnel was very kind and helpful. A subway station is well reachable or you can go there by bus.
